Rome wasn’t built in a day
1 / 1

We’ve got more exciting LEGO Festival of Play news to reveal next week but in the meantime we can tell you about some other LEGO brick fun going on at Sydney’s Nicholson Museum.

Sunday July 1 sees the grand unveiling of the largest ever scale model of Rome’s famous Colosseum - built entirely from LEGO bricks! The model will be the centrepiece of an exhibition about Rome’s largest surviving building from the great days of its Empire. The exhibition will also include sculpture and coins of the Emperors, as well as artefacts used in daily life by the ordinary Roman who enjoyed 100 days of holiday and games when the original Colosseum opened in 80 AD.

For more information about the exhibition visit here.

Note: This is not an official LEGO Festival of Play event.
