Over the past three weeks we’ve called on the nation to vote for their favourite Aussie moment from the last 50 years. Almost 14,000 votes were cast and now we’re busy tallying them up to find out which ten moments will be recreated using LEGO Minifigures.

Will there be a historical sporting moment in the list, the well-known Neighbours wedding, or the opening of iconic landmark the Sydney Opera House? Only time will tell as we get set to unveil the ones you’ve voted for!

From 25 celebrated moments, only the ten with the most votes will be immortalised in LEGO Minifigures.

Check back here on Friday August 3 where we’ll reveal the top ten. Then it’s over to esteemed British photographer, Mike Stimpson, who will start recreating the moments before photographing them for a special online gallery to be revealed in September.
