LEGO Brickworks has hit the road again, this time setting up residence in the Queensland city of Ipswich. After several weeks in Newcastle, the framed art mosaics have headed north and will be on display at Ipswich Art Gallery from September 11.
The colourful 2D mosaics are made entirely from the iconic LEGO bricks and are based on designs submitted by creative Australians from a variety of industries including Romance Was Born, Dinosaur Designs and Adriano Zumbo.
Ipswich locals and visitors have until October 7 to check out these world-first creations, all inspired by the concept of play.
