Students across the country are being treated to a day of fun and play, as Australia’s only LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught calls in to visit one lucky school per state.

Most recently Ryan dropped in to Lake Munmorah Public School in NSW and Charleville S.S in QLD, both state winners of the LEGO Education Learning Inspiration competition - which was inspired by the Festival of Play.

From NSW it was eight-year-old Toby who caught the judge’s eye with his impressive LEGO map of Australia, a submission inspired by a lesson on geography. The day saw students build everything from LEGO birthday cakes and pyramids to rockets and aliens, and included a special school assembly where all the kids wore LEGO masks!

In QLD, the winner was eight-year-old Matilda with her LEGO brick wheelchair inspired by the Paralympics. The kids at Charleville S.S made everything from time travelling devices, through to ancient explorers and temples.

Between now and the end of November, Ryan will be calling on a winning school from VIC and WA as we continue to inspire the builders of tomorrow.
