LEGO® Australia is bringing childhood memories to life this weekend with a supersized giant LEGO brick that popped up in the heart of Melbourne today! The LEGO Pop-Up Play Pit is a huge red LEGO brick installed in Queensbridge Square for fans young and old to build and play within.

Built to the exact proportions of a LEGO brick, only a lot bigger at 8m long, there’s plenty of fun for the whole family both inside and outside the brick.

LEGO fans can stand in front of the larger-than-life brick for a once-in-a-lifetime photo, before making their way inside where the interior walls are lined with LEGO baseplates, with bricks scattered around for the public to build an item that is then displayed on the wall.

Outside the fun continues with a shaded play area set up featuring bespoke tables filled with bricks of all colours for people to build to their hearts content.
